Spot. Magazine is an innovative, one-off publication aimed to inspire creative professionals. We explore the meaning of colours in fashion, design and life itself. Meant to function as an extension of an upcoming colour symposium, Spot. has the ambition to be published in Autumn 2010. Spot. Magazine is made by Lisa Goudsmit (Fashion Manager), Jessica Put (Fashion Brander) and Femke Verheuvel (Fashion Designer).
Spot. Magazine is the result of our broad research on the function of colour in the (creative) world, placed in a historical and cultural context. We noticed how the Western World has gone through a ‘black period’ this past decade: matters such as the financial crisis and the threat of terrorism put a dark shade on our lives. Spot. uses the power of colours to brighten the world.
Spot. challenges creatives to get colourful inspiration from sources such as fashion, art, poems and interviews with other professionals. Spot. focuses on the subjective experience and symbolism behind colours to let you see beyond the eyes. We put a spotlight on different tints to reflect positivity into the world: colorize your life with Spot. Magazine!
