Within the years young Dutch muslima’s of the second generation have gained their place in our society. Their numbers are rising, they go to school, study and have careers. The level of their education grows and their monthly income, of which they surprisingly spend a large part on western fashion, is relatively high.

Today’s young muslima’s therefore are very fashion conscious, which is great news for the industry!

It makes them an interesting consumer group to target. But how is that to be done? This question increasingly emerges from the fashion industry and has been the main cause for conducting a qualitative research on the style preferences and fashion needs of this target group. It appears that the majority of the fashion retailers still do not have a clear insight into the fashion wishes of young Dutch Muslima’s.

100% moslima is the product in which the main results of the research are being summarized. It takes the curious fashion retailer on a trip in the world of moslima fashion and offers them concrete and inspiring leads which can stimulate the integration of the moslima consumer within the retail concept.
